With a nice and cozy ambiance, great
live band performances and chic palatable nourishment, Rooftop at the Papilion is
an al fresco concept bar that looks sophisticated and romantic by the light of
candles at night. Nestled on the 5th floor of the Papilion
building, Rooftop is fashioned with comfortable couches, some picnic-style
seats at a dark long wooden table in the middle and an elegant bar in the
corner. It also has a terrace area for the guests who want to enjoy the night
under the Milky Way and see the skyline of Jakarta.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday 6pm to 2am,
Rooftop entertains their guests with various live band shows that play
disparate kinds of music while pampering the guests’ tummies with delicious
dishes and a great selection of drinks.
Try out the favourite drink here, a Lychee Martini, a favourite alcoholic drink that is definitely a good idea when paired with one of the luscious tapas selections like Organic Chicken Quesadillas. The food coming with spiced organic chicken breast and julienned bell peppers, black olive, tomato, Monterey jack cheese and served with sour cream.
You may also savour their Gyudon, the Japanese sliced beef in teriyaki sauce with a rice bowl and garnished with ginger on top, which adds a hot flavour but not so spicy, oh yummy! If you are a salad lover, Rooftop serves a big plate of Caesar Salad that you can share with your dinner mate. Their Meat Balls are tasty and can be a nice meaty supplement when you hang until late at Rooftop.
When the night is getting late and the music getting louder, ordering the ‘Knock Out’ will definitely make your Rooftop experience more memorable. What is the Knock Out? You may have guessed it’s a drink with a mix of liquors and special syrup that’s appealing in colour and flavour but will result in a heady boom in just a few minutes!
